Why CORE Exists

The rare earth magnet supply chain has a structural problem. Over 90% of sintered NdFeB magnets are manufactured in China. The few non-Chinese alternatives — Noveon in the US, Neo Performance Materials in Canada, Shin-Etsu and TDK in Japan — serve exclusively large OEMs with contracts starting at 100+ metric tons per year.

That leaves more than 10,000 small and mid-sized manufacturers in the US and Europe — companies building industrial motors, servo systems, HVAC equipment, medical devices, and robotics — with no viable path to non-Chinese magnets. They either buy Chinese (often without documentation) or pay a premium to middlemen who provide no supply chain transparency.

CORE Magnetics was founded to fill that gap. We are the first multi-tier, verified-provenance rare earth magnet distributor purpose-built for SME manufacturers. Our four provenance tiers — from Cost to Super-Premium (DFARS-compliant) — give buyers a real choice for the first time. Every order ships with a Provenance Certificate documenting feedstock origin, manufacturing country, and chain of custody.

We magnetize in the US. We ship in 2 weeks to established customers. We accept 50 kg minimums. And we are transparent about every link in the chain — including our Cost Tier, which uses documented Chinese feedstock. Because transparency, not fiction, is what procurement teams actually need.

US-Based Magnetization Facility

All magnetization is performed at our US facility. Capabilities include axial, radial, and diametric magnetization, with custom field patterns on request. 48-hour magnetization turnaround.

Every shipment undergoes dimensional inspection, flux density verification, and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with BH curve data to MMPA-compliant quality standards. US-based recourse for any quality issue.
